Abdixhiku meets British ambassador, briefs him on preparations for February 9 elections

Chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku received today the Ambassador of the United Kingdom, Jonathan Hargreaves, during a meeting.

President Lumir Abdixhiku through a post on his profile on the social network Facebook, wrote that he had informed Ambassador Hargreaves about the preparations for the February 9 elections.

According to Abdixhikut, LDK is running for the elections with a new team, a new program and new ideas.

“I informed the ambassador about our preparations for the February 9 elections, our political program “The New Way” and our electoral orientation on development policies and projects that are important and heavy for the citizens of the country. LDK is running for the elections with a new team, a new program, new ideas! Above all, with enthusiasm for unity and hope for the future of the country,” Abdixhiku wrote.

Abdixhiku, also stated during the meeting that he had stressed the importance of international support for the stability and democratic development of Kosovo; especially in the face of opponents of our citizenship.
“The United Kingdom has been and remains our close ally in this regard. For this, we and the people of Kosovo will remain eternally grateful,” Abdixhiku said.
