Two boys, both aged 15, have been charged with the murder of Darrian Williams, 16, who died after being stabbed in a Bristol park on Wednesday.
Darrian was attacked in Rawnsley Park, in the Easton area of the city.
He ran to Stapleton Road where a driver helped him, but died from his injuries at the scene.
The boys, who cannot be named due to their ages, were also charged with possessing a knife in a public place.
They are in custody and will appear in Bristol Juvenile Court on Monday.
Police said Darrian’s family had been informed and specialist family liaison officers were offering support.
“Our thoughts this evening are with Darrian’s family following this development,” said Neil Meade, the lead investigating officer.
“We continue to deploy significant resources into the investigation and will keep them fully informed as it develops.”
