Israel is among the top ten developing countries in the world. AI, alongside powers such as the United States, the United Kingdom and China. There are now nearly 2,200 AI-based companies in Israel, many of them in the healthcare sector.
This is why Eran Lerer, CEO of the investment fund Shoni Health Ventures, aimed at financing medical technology, believes that artificial intelligence will play a crucial role in the future of Israeli development.
In addition, there are more than 1,600 healthcare companies in Israel, and the same sector ranks first in the ranking of the number of startups by sector. From his experience with the investment fund, Lerer pointed out that Israeli medical technology companies raise funds both domestically and internationally and attract international clients.
In his investment portfolio, two startups use AI for medical development. One is QuantHealth, whose unique algorithm uses big data to maximize the chances of success in new drug studies.
The second is FeelBetter, which uses AI to examine a patient’s medical records and complex medication regimen to determine if they are on the right treatment to improve their preventive care.
