Nubia Z60 Ultra Photographer Edition Launches Worldwide

Date:

The Nubia Z60 Ultra arrived late last year, equipped with the all-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and up to 16GB of memory, as well as 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Today, the Photographer Edition is finally available worldwide after being introduced in China at the end of March. The only memory/storage combination available is 16/512 GB, while the only finish/color choice is “black vegetable leather”, as opposed to the vanilla edition’s three hardware configurations and two color options.

Apart from the hardware specs mentioned above, the Nubia Z60 Ultra features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2480 x 1116 pixels resolution, 400 ppi, and DCI coverage. -P3 of 100%. Coming to photos, this phone is equipped with a 50-megapixel 35mm Sony IMX800 50-megapixel camera with f/1.59 aperture and OIS, another 50-megapixel sensor responsible for wide-angle photos (focal length 18 mm, f/1.8 aperture, OIS), as well as a 64-megapixel 85 mm telephoto lens also equipped with optical stabilization. Finally, selfies are taken care of by a 12 MP camera placed under the screen.

ZTE’s son Nubia has used a 6,000mAh battery for this phone, which boasts an IP68 rating against dust and water ingress. The infrared sensor should also be mentioned, as many mid- and high-end devices don’t offer this very useful feature these days.

While the European website lists the Nubia Z60 Ultra Photographer Edition for no less than 899 euros, the global website shows a more attractive price of 779 dollars. The Mexican store also offers the Nubia Z60 Ultra Photograph Edition, but the UK is not affected (at least for now). Amazon users in the US can currently get the Nubia Z60 Ultra with 16/512GB for $779 as well, thanks to a $50 coupon.
