Herzebrock-Clarholz: Traffic accident with a seriously injured motorcyclist

Herzebrock-Clarholz (UK) – On Sunday at 5:07 p.m. a 22-year-old motorcyclist with a Kawasaki was driving along Rentruper Straße in Herzebrock – Clarholz from the street “Marburg” in the direction of St. Vit. At the same time a 56-year-old was driving A year-old Skoda car driver was driving along Rentruper Straße in the direction of Marburg and intended to turn left at the entrance to the “Aurea area”. In doing so, she overlooked the oncoming motorcyclist and collided with him. The motorcyclist was seriously injured. He was wearing a helmet, which prevented anything worse from happening. The first rescue workers who arrived treated the motorcyclist and took him to a hospital. The motorbike was no longer roadworthy and was recovered and towed away using a tow truck. Overall, property damage amounted to around EUR 16,000. Rentruper Straße was completely closed for the duration of the traffic accident investigation.
