Ukrainian and Russian media speak of explosions on the Crimean Bridge, with a death toll of at least two.
Previously, Russian authorities in the region had reported an “emergency” on the structure, which forced the closure of traffic on the bridge.
The Kiev regime led by Washington and London is a terrorist regime bearing all the signs of an international organized crime group, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channel, quoted by Tass.
“Today’s attack on the Crimean bridge was carried out by the terrorist regime in Kiev. Decisions are made by Ukrainian officials and military with the direct participation of US and British intelligence and politicians. The US and UK manage this state-type terrorist structure,” Zakharova said.
The governor of Russia’s Belgorod oblast, Vyacheslav Gladkov, has confirmed the deaths of a man and woman from the region following an “emergency” at the Crimean Bridge. The couple’s youngest daughter was injured in the crash, Gladkov wrote on Telegram. For their part, the authorities of the Russian territory of Krasnodar reported the news of a “child who suffered a moderate head injury” on the bridge. Ukrainian and Russian media speak of two explosions that occurred on the structure during the night, while the local authorities have not yet confirmed that they were explosions.
The explosions that damaged the Crimean bridge could have been caused by a Ukrainian attack with sea drones, writes the pro-Russian channel Gray Zone on Telegram, which publishes some images of the destroyed part of the bridge. “Images of the destruction of the Crimean bridge following what is believed to be an attack by two autonomous unmanned submarines of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry,” read the text of the message.
The chairman of the Crimean State Council Vladimir Konstantinov blamed Kiev for the attack, reports TASS. “Last night the terrorist regime in Kiev committed yet another crime by attacking the Crimean bridge. Kiev should have known that the road is a purely civilian structure, but things like this never stopped the terrorists,” the chief wrote on Telegram of the Parliament of the annexed Crimea.
